My Uncle is a manager at a large aerospace company. He has provided me contacts with software engineers on his team and has talked me through the uncertainty of learning how to code. He has given me direction, and some hope that there is indeed opportunities out there. He has taught me the importance of networking and knowing the right people along with working hard.

I have also visited Skogs and Robb 2 times this semester to discuss the presentation format, and general questions regarding the project due dates. I have gone to them as well for the district award nomination presentation. I also reached out to Skogs via email to ask for clarification on deadlines and requirements.
